Many of us decide when to tithe and which monies to tithe on. The Bible specifically mentions to tithe on our increase. Many give the excuses of income to suggest their monthly earnings ignoring other monetary gifts they receive by the divine mercies of God. Others give the excuse that they don’t work, they are students and don’t tithe at all. There are still those who say their monthly income is not enough to tithe on. Tithing is spiritual, it’s benefits are great. Tithing stops nonsense. It rebukes the devourer, it allows God’s favor on you, showering blessings never imagined. As long as you receive an increment in your financial status and from wherever, it is important that you tithe on it. By so doing, you acknowledge God as the giver and also invite Him to secure the money from events that will waste it away and also for Him to bless you mightily.
“I NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TITHE THE FIRST MILLION DOLLARS I EVER MADE IF I HAD NOT TITHED MY FIRST SALARY, WHICH WAS $1.50 PER WEEK.”
— JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER
“HONOR HIM BY SHARING WHAT YOU EARN. BEGIN BY TITHING ALL YOU RECEIVE. “
-WILLIAM COLGATE
Take a moment to Think and Declare
Is tithing a command or a choice?
