"Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. All through this year, our dreams, aspirations and hopes will be actualized through our level of surrender to GOD. Unlike wicked rulers who force surrender with the power they have, GOD, although All-Powerful, gives us the choice to surrender to HIM. A Master who does not force HIS will on HIS subordinates is a good ruler and that is why today, I recommend and commend to you GOD, for a successful 2025.
Today's scripture admonishes and advises us that if we want to see a good end of things, it is required that we TRUST. Trust means submission, submitting all you are and want to the one you have been asked to trust. In trusting, we consider many things, especially how reliable the person we are trusting is. It is a known fact that man cannot be trusted, the bible says it too. Because by the arm of flesh no man can prevail (1 Samuel 2:9). Resting on the arms of another man you cannot make it in this life.
In 2 Kings 6, there was a time of great famine in the land of Israel. A woman turned to the king, who by virtue of being their ruler was seen as wise and able, and asked the king for help. The response of the king was interesting yet true. He said to her, if GOD does not help us who can (2 Kings 6:27). In other words, as great as my regard is, there is no help in me. So the bible says each man for himself, GOD for us all. It is not in man to help man, rather it is in GOD to help, because HE is the SOURCE of all things.
We also have the habit of trusting halfway. We think to ourselves, let me have a backup plan just in case this fails so I do not suffer a terrible crash. This has caused us to sometimes engage in dishonest schemes, not be fully open and even fall in traps we should not have. Yet still, it is understandable if we do this with men. But with GOD we must not because where complete trust is missing we tend not to give our all and our best and GOD wants our all and our best.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Through our experiences and dealings with men we have developed trust issues, consciously or unconsciously. Things do not always seem as they are. A person seeming to be blue may be red. In GOD there is no shadow of turning. HE is real. I know you have trusted men to your downfall and disgrace but GOD is not man. Yes, HE is the creator of man, however after the fall of man, men have become dishonest and many other things that are anti-GOD. Therefore, HE has also assumed the position as the REDEEMER of men to bring us back to HIS original plan.
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

GOD is your father. Maybe that does not sound good to you because you had a not so good father or parents. Let's rephrase this, GOD is your good good FATHER. HIS plans for you are good. I remember being at a retreat sometime ago and I was seriously making plans for myself and then GOD showed me how all these plans are below what HE has in store. I was amazed.
Here's what Yahweh says to you: "I know all about the marvelous destiny I have in store for you, a future planned out in detail. My intention is not to harm you but to surround you with peace and prosperity and to give you a beautiful future, glistening with hope.

I left the retreat and found out through HIS guidance what HE had for me and it certainly was more beautiful. The WORD OF GOD is true. They are not just letters and words put together to form sentences, phrases etc. They are TRUTH. If you ever thought something true, nothing is more true than HIS WORD. If you will end this year fulfilled, you will need to TRUST, comfortably rely, on GOD.

I am grateful for my life and the opportunity to have a fresh start with YOU in 2025. I pray committing the year into your hands and ask for the GRACE to live in total surrender to YOU, because I desire to see a better year in JESUS mighty name.
