"Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on HIM to guide you, and HE will lead you in every decision you make. GOD knows the path for 2025. HE understands how it will unfold for those who rely on HIM versus those who do not. Throughout life, we remain like children, depending on our parents for guidance. No matter how many years we accumulate, we cannot manage life on our own; we need GOD as the ESSENTIAL source of living. YOU cannot do without HIM.
Just as young ones seek counsel from their elders for better outcomes, all humanity requires GOD for a successful, fulfilled, and joyful life—especially as we approach 2025. Regardless of age, we all make mistakes in our decisions. We can bring our experiences and expertise to bear, yet our final choices may still be flawed. GOD has a unique plan for everyone, and HE may choose a different path to execute yours, even if someone else appears to be doing the same thing. No matter what you know, always rely on GOD for guidance. In our pride, we may claim to know it all, but life is not solely about common sense. We may act as though we can sort things out independently; however, our strength and wisdom are limited. The truth is that we cannot see what lies ahead. Even if we could, we would not know the details.
GOD is the "BIG BOSS," the ANCIENT OF DAYS. If you've ever thought your parents, grandparents, or mentors were wise, remember that GOD surpasses them all because HE existed before all creation. As we grow older, we are taught to make decisions based on the assumption that age brings wisdom and good judgment; yet even the elderly make mistakes. It is essential to surrender to the idea of needing help from others, no matter how learned you are. There are many unseen forces at play in our lives. We are GOD's treasures, and because of this fact, we have an enemy—Satan—who opposes everything GOD desires for HIS children. Earthly factors and human wills also influence our paths; often, it takes a miracle for these elements to align with our hopes. Rely on GOD; HE knows the right times and seasons for every decision we should make because HE understands our lives better than we do—after all, HE created them.
Another version states: "In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct your paths." HIS guidance is paramount. Many of us like to believe that we are self-made individuals who create our own success; however, it is time to humbly recognize that it is by GOD's GRACE that we achieve anything at all. When we acknowledge GOD, we are essentially saying, "I could not have made it without YOU." Just as thanking a person encourages them to continue their good deeds, so it is with GOD; when we acknowledge HIS role in our lives, HE leads us into greater opportunities.
In this year and beyond, regardless of how much you know, choose to rely on GOD for every decision you make—and HE will lead you. How wonderful it is to have the King of all kings—the one upon whom everything on this earth relies—guide you! Submit to GOD; relinquish all that you are to HIM. HE is capable of bringing forth something far greater from your life than you could ever achieve on your own.
Dear FATHER,
Thank YOU for my life. As difficult as it can get, thank YOU that I can rely on you for guidance. As the year commences, I choose to give all to YOU. My life and my decisions are all YOURS. May YOUR HOLY NAME be praised in JESUS mighty name.
