?For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.?
??Luke? ?19?:?10? ?KJV
??
Have you ever found yourself lost while trying to reach an unfamiliar destination? Even with the assistance of tools like Google Maps, it?s easy to take a wrong turn. I have often felt the excitement of visiting a friend or loved one for the first time, only for navigation issues to dampen the experience.
Similarly, in life, we can feel enthusiastic about our journey, yet find ourselves lost, even with guidance. We may seek advice or support but often feel overwhelmed by how to take the first step. What we truly desire is someone to guide us through the process.
JESUS knows the way; in fact, HE is the Way. With HIM, you find the solutions you seek. There is no risk of losing your path when you follow HIM. This is precisely why HE came?to seek and save those who are lost. We often have an idea of our goals and destinations but struggle with how to achieve them. In my own experiences, I have prayed for GOD's help and found that HE either spoke directly to me or sent someone to guide me.
Isaiah 53:6 (TPT) reminds us: ?Like wayward sheep, we have all wandered astray. Each of us has turned from GOD?s paths and chosen our own way; even so, Yahweh laid the guilt of our every sin upon HIM.?
The Bible consistently emphasizes our need for HIM. Despite their age or wisdom, the Israelites repeatedly faltered and were led astray by poor choices. David acknowledged that his ability to navigate life stemmed from GOD being his Shepherd.
The word "seek" implies a desire. JESUS came with a deep desire for the lost because HE is the answer to their perishing state. A lost person is bound to perish and be destroyed. The Greek understanding of "save" encompasses being made whole, preserved, and healed. Life can be challenging, and many walk through it with broken hearts. JESUS came to safeguard our sanity, destinies, and heal our wounds, enabling us to live according to the FATHER?s design.
Life without JESUS is incomplete; true fulfillment comes only through HIM. Now is an opportune moment to surrender your life to JESUS, who came specifically to guide us back onto the right path?like sheep without a shepherd.
Matthew 9:36 (TPT) states: ?When HE saw the vast crowds of people, JESUS? heart was deeply moved with compassion because they seemed weary and helpless, like wandering sheep without a shepherd.?
There is the universality of need. Regardless of wealth or status, everyone needs JESUS. JESUS said these words in reference to a rich man, Zacchaeus, a wealthy tax collector who still required salvation. No earthly position can exempt anyone from needing HIM; we need HIM because HE created us and understands how we function best.
You can choose to surrender your life to JESUS today because without HIM, you are helpless:
Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for my life. I admit that I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me. I know that without YOU I cannot make it in this life. Today I accept YOU as my LORD and personal SAVIOR; please take control of my life.
Dear Father ,
Thank YOU for sending JESUS for my total salvation. Today I honor YOU and thank YOU for this wonderful GIFT. Please help me to continually live in surrender to YOU and YOUR will in JESUS name.
