In the MESSIAH, in CHRIST, GOD leads us through a continuous victory parade. Through us, He spreads the knowledge of CHRIST, and wherever we go, people inhale the exquisite fragrance of His presence (2 Corinthians 2:14-15 MSG).
Throughout history, we have witnessed the reality of wars—conflicts arising from disagreements, territorial ambitions, power struggles, and desires for revenge.
In the beginning, humanity fell and relinquished its GOD-given authority to the enemy. This was a willful mistake with consequences that echoed through time. Thankfully, GOD’s redemptive plan was fulfilled through JESUS CHRIST, who took upon Himself the punishment we deserved. Through His sacrifice, we can reclaim our power over the earth—our divinely ordained territory.
In times of war, the leadership of the army is crucial. For many years, the Philistines gained strength and notoriety under Goliath’s leadership. Though they were not inherently strong, Goliath’s might gave them confidence against their enemies. Meanwhile, DAVID's men became formidable warriors during his reign over Israel; under his leadership, there was perpetual victory! In contrast, SAUL fell into despair because he lacked the power to confront Goliath. The leader you follow in battle truly matters.
I recall preparing for final exams; taking extra classes was essential. The best instructors were sought after to ensure success because having a skilled navigator was vital as I approached my exams.
Hallelujah! We have an excellent navigator—JESUS CHRIST Himself, the ultimate champion who has triumphed over our adversary. As seen in Matthew 4, He faced temptation and emerged victorious.
The Bible tells us:
"He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities and shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross." (Colossians 2:14-15 NLT)
JESUS is the one who has conquered this stubborn enemy! The good news is that He leads us in this battle. He reassured His disciples not to fear because He has overcome the world (John 16:33). This victory is perpetual—it is constant and not seasonal.
While the enemy may be a nuisance, we can overcome him through our battles.
Whatever challenges you face today, remember that JESUS has already triumphed over them and empowers you to win!
Our High Priest understands our weaknesses; He faced every trial we encounter yet remained sinless (Hebrews 4:15 NLT). JESUS experienced all that we go through to show us how to live a victorious life.
Maybe you struggle with depression, immorality, pornography and other infirmities with JESUS on your side, victory is yours- you gain possession over your mind in CHRIST to the end that you may be sound and free from evil. Maybe your family used to be wealthy and for some reason, the enemy attacked and things have never been the same. Through JESUS and HIS victory, we can reclaim everything that is ours because HE leads us and we have HIS name and blood to take back what belongs to us! Praise The LORD!
Maybe as you read this text. You have not surrendered your life to CHRIST. This victory is only available to those who have. As you say this prayer with me, believe that you have joined the victorious army led by CHRIST HIMSELF:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for my life. I thank you for coming to die for me. I admit my sins and that I am sinner. Please have mercy on me. Today I surrender all and accept JESUS as my LORD and personal SAVIOUR. Please come and live in me and make me whole. AMEN
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your leadership over our lives as believers! It is good and wonderful! It is our victory. Help me to continually relinquish all and enforce my victory in YOU that I may regain whatever I lost through sin, transgressions and iniquity. Have mercy on me this day and help me in JESUS mighty name.
