Everyone rejoices at the brith of a new born child. Although it
comes with costs, it’s almost as though all that is ignored for the joy
of a new entrant. It’s the same with a new convert, there is much
rejoicing in the body of Christ and in heaven. Although everyone
rejocies over the new born, it is expected to grow. It will be abnormal
for it to remain the same forever. By feeding on breast milk, during
his or her foundation years, the baby grows wonderfully to the point
it is able to take in solids. It’s the same for us Christians. When we
get born again, the Word of God is the breast milk we take to grow.
Apostle Paul says we should desire it. It is easy to go days without
reading the Bible. A 59 year old can be a 2 year old in the spirit
because they’re malnourished. There’s a popular song, Read your
Bible prayer everyday if you want to grow. Let’s feed ourselves with
the word. Although your spirit doesn’t cry I’m hungry, it shows
through the quality of your life. Read the Word of God today and
change the quality of your life
Take a moment to Think and Declare
How often am I reading the Bible? Is my spiritual growth Important to me?
