The Beginning Of Great Things : Finding Hope Amidst the Challenges of COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic brought many challenges, but it also opened the door to new opportunities for helping those in need. During this uncertain time, we felt a strong call to support the most vulnerable among us—those who are often overlooked and neglected.
Through prayer and careful research, we discovered Nyamedua Children’s Home in NanaKrom, a small but peaceful place where orphans receive care and love. After visiting and assessing their needs, we were certain that God wanted us to support this home. Thanks to your generous donations—made possible by God through you—we have been able to help children not only in Accra and the Greater Accra Region but also in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
A Significant Visit
Our recent visit to Nyamedua Children’s Home marked a significant milestone for our organization. This trip followed our earlier support for families during the early days of the pandemic in 2019. Our goal was to share the love of Christ with the orphaned and neglected children living there.
During our visit, our team enjoyed a meaningful time of fellowship with the children. We sang songs, shared stories, and enjoyed a communal meal together. This joyful gathering lasted over three hours, creating lasting memories for both the children and our team.
Insights from Leadership
A highlight of the day was meeting Mr. Paul Anaba, the founder of Nyamedua Children’s Home. He shared valuable insights about their outreach efforts in Northern Ghana, particularly in the Upper East region, and expressed hopes for raising more funds to expand their support.
Making a Difference
In addition to fellowship, we donated food and essential household items to the home. Our visit left not only material support but also a renewed sense of hope among the children. The smiles on their faces showed just how much this visit meant to them.
Gratitude and Reflection
As we reflect on this important day, we give glory to God for His guidance and blessings throughout this outreach. Thank you for your generous support; together, we are making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and those in need.
To God be the Glory for great things He has done!
